Sprouted Almond Smoothie


Ingredients / Directions: 
  • Soak 1/4c raw almonds in water at room temperature overnight. (Even better, soak for 24 hrs, and change the water half way through.)
  • Drain, then puree in blender with about 1/2c water until creamy.
  • Add 1 banana and blend. If you add a frozen banana, it will be thick like soft ice-cream.
  • If you like, you can add (approximately):
    • *1/8 tsp of vanilla
  • Blend in or drizzle/sprinkle on top (approximately):
    • *1 tsp of maple syrup
    • *freshly grated nutmeg
*optional ingredients
